12/01/06 - MOSS family My husband who comes from a family of 10, all put into childrens homes when they were very young has this week been put in touch with another brother whom he has not seen for 56 years, [he was 7 years of age and his brother 5 when they last had contact]. The brother, originally Brian Moss, had been adopted and his name changed so we had no way of knowing this. Trying to find him through the normal channels had proved a fruitless search on many occasions and now we know the reason why including the fact that he has spent almost all of his adult life living in Germany. One day whilst working on his computer he found the 'genes united' website by chance. Curiously he scrolled down the list of 'trying to find' names and to his absolute shock he saw his name along with the three other members names of his family that are still missing. Our sister-in-law had put the names on the website in Novbember 2004 and we all had never given up hope. We are now looking forward to meeting him and having a family reunion. Regarding the other three missing family members, If there is anyone out there who may know the wherebouts of a Kenneth Moss aged about 69 who worked on the fishing trawlers in Grimsby, or his brother David Moss aged about 64, last heard of in Grantham, Lincs and a sister Brenda who was adopted, aged now about 45 . Maybe someone out there may know their where -abouts and could tell them their family are anxious to find them. We really would love to unite the whole family We really would appreciate this.
