I have been trying to find out if there was a connection between my grandmother and my husband's grandmother, both surnamed Watson and both coming from the same area of East London. I posted a message Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon received two replies which gave me lots of details about the families in question, and which answered my questions. Now I know lots about the families but I also know that the two ladies in question were not sisters, but I still have some more looking to do, and who knows they may be cousins. I have tried some new messages today about other family members so maybe I will get lucky again. I have been trying for ages to find out various things and this is the quickest and most definite news I have had. Thanks to all. |
