I was adopted 45 years ago. I knew my birth name and birth mothers name, I put my details (not my birth mothers, in case no one knew about me and it caused upset), on the general board of her surname. Yesterday I had an email from my little brother who I never knew i had. My birth mother had never denied my exsistence and had told her family all about me. I will be meeting her early in the new year. So if there is anyone out there, who like me needs to find their birth parents , but are afraid they won't want to know you, at least try like I did. After all they are not allowed to contact us , so they may be waiting like my mum was for over 40 years for that day to come. Thank you genes reunited for giving me the opportunity of meeting the family i never knew i had.
