Having researched my Anstis line for some time, I am in contact now with 2 relatives of my great grandfather Gordon Havelock Anstis. I had just managed to pluck up courage to send off a letter to one of the relatives. Now a big family mystery is solved and I am now in contact with a son of my great grandfather called Roy Anstis. I am glad this bridge has been built even in the small sense. Who would have thought my grandmother had a half brother from her fathers second (bigamous) marriage. Steve
