Steven Report 14 Dec 2005 23:03

I casually looked at this site in August 2005, entered my close family details and hoped I might find my Great Grandparents and maybe one more generation. I now have 1300 relations in my tree, and I still have several leads to explore which will bring in lots more. I have found an Aunt and two cousins I haven't seen for almost 30 years, and another I didn't know I had. Found others in Hampshire also not contacted for almost 30 years, and found other relations in Canada and New Zealand. Learned that my family which I have now gone back to 1770, and have learnt some history and many interesting stories about relations on the way. It's been a bigger ride than I anticipated, and a good decision to join GR. Thanks to all those who have given me any help. It's been a pleasure to also help others. I have a new hobby, and a lot more relations to visit as a result. Thanks GR. Steven.
