would just like to say that since i started my tree back in february of this year ive been able to trace my direct family line back to my great great great great grandfather circa 1770 though i did have great trouble making the link from my grt grandfather back to my great great grandfather then one day BINGO with the help of a girl called lita i was able to add loads of family members it was funny though because at first i had contacted lita and we thought we were not related but we were so the link was made thanks to genes reunited ive also made contact with a cousin ive not seen in over 40 years and now her husband and myself are working together to build even more of our tree we are now in the process of adding branches and i must say once again this search is being aided by members of genesreunited and im finding new things every day ive even had people who are not even related helping out (those who helped with caroline young particularly have been of great help they know who they are so thanks ) my advice to anyone searching is never give up someone somewhere knows something and its up to the individual to never give up chase every lead ok so more often than not it turns out to be of no use but if one sees it in a positive manner one can eliminate it from ones enquiries so nothing is ever a waste of time there are some people out there that will go above and beyond the call of duty to help i refer to john carroll who found a diary and passed it on so well done john today the 22nd day of november 2005 is my nans birthday had she lived she would of been 117 she was the dearest lady ever and ive found out so much about her through this site she led a rather hard life so ive found but always had time for her grandchildren so happy birthday nan rest in peace sweetheart malc |
