within days of joining i had found a real live relative or in fact i should say he found me i thought i was the last of our family name as my grandad was the only son with 4 sisters two of whom never had children so when i got a message saying he was looking for the same people as his grandad was my g grandads brother i couldnt beleive it i was dancing around in my computer room like something demented and had a silly grin on my face all day long we now talk on the phone and send at least a couple of emails a day although i live in australia now and he lives in wales its bridges a huge gap we are now helping each other do our family tree his wife is also in on the search they took early retirement to wales and found they now live only a couple of miles away from where the people we are researching lived in the 1800's absolutley brilliant to find i am not alone thanks so much to genes brilliant site everyone in england ireland scotland and wales should join even if your not doing your family tree you never know who is out there its smashing thanks again.
