Thankyou Genes Reunited for finding my nephew that was adopted at birth. He joined GR only yesterday as a last resort after using every other method available in finding her. He's been looking for her for a long time.He never thought in a million years that he would find a connection so soon but he did. He, myself and his birth mother have talked via mesenger this evening. I'm so excited! His b/Mum is numb! as I expect he is too. Nothing feels real yet. It's all come together so quick!(lucky that she was spending the weekend with me) I got a message on here and after reading it I went to my big sis and whispered in here ear....'GORDON' She knew who I meant although we only ever thought of him as Stephen (his birth name) Things went from terrifying to better and better, nicer and nicer. This is a most wonderful feeling. We have exchanged photo's and seen family liknesses. I would like to send a big thankyou to his parents for giving him a happy childhood. Thats all my sister wanted for him as she was unable to give him that at that time. (1957) 'NEVER GIVE UP' this should be GRs motto. A very happy Aunty Gerri thats even MORE sleepless in Stevenage tonight. x |
