Suzanne Bellingham Banford:Thanks to Genes reunited I have found a cousin who I did not know about & on Saturday we met for the first time for a meal with our husbands,Her mother was my Grandfathers Sister ,Unfortunatly she has lost her brother & Sister & my Father died 28yrs ago not knowing he had a younger cousin ,I am an only child & did not know many of my Father's relatives as he came from Yorkshire & I have lived in Birmingham all my life, but by luck our names matched dates & address's were finally exchanged & yes that proved who we were from the past as my Father sent cards every xmas. We finally chatted over the phone & planned our meeting.My husband & I travelled to Yorkshire last weekend & a wonderful evening was spent showing Photographes & learning about each other,We do show a family resemblence Thank you Genes reunited I hope we have many more happy times together. |
