My mum remembered her father only vaguely and always wished she knew more about him. Regrettably she died several years ago but through Genes Reunited I have not only found out about him but have contacted her half-sister and niece that she didn't even know existed. Also I have found a 2nd cousin from another branch on my mum's side that we knew nothing about. Thank you to Karen, Victor, Sue, Lisa, Rita, Diane and especially Netty for very kindly contacting me out of the goodness of their hearts with invaluable info that gave my search a turbo boost.
