I came across Genes Reunited by accident in MARCH 2003 and on the spur of the moment left a message asking for any information regarding my father whom I never knew as he parted from my mother when I was a few months old. I just left his name and the area I thought he lived in 1950. Imagine my amazement to get a phone call in JULY 2005 from a Half Sister (Barbara) I never knew existed. Within a few days we met up and Barbara was able to fill in a lot of blank spaces in my background. We are now getting to know one another with several meetings and it already seems as though we have know each other years. Its been great. Thanks a million Genes Reunited. To all others out there searching DO NOT GIVE UP. G R carries on looking for you. In my case it took two years but GR came up trumps in the end. YOU NEVER KNOW WHO THAT NEXT PHONE CALL MAY BE FROM. Good Luck.
