Even though I come from a family of 11 children none of us were ever told about our mum and dad's relations so we never knew 'Aunties & Uncles, Grannies or Granddads' I have had my details with this site for several years without any positive contacts, that was until the 7th of Aug 05 when Ann Franklin contacted me to say that she believed we were related and sure enough we are, I am Ann's 3rd cousin 1 time removed. Since our first contact Ann has provided me with a wealth of information about my ancestors from my father's side including photo's. We will be meeting for the first time next month which I am so looking forward to. My advice to all those searching for relations is, DON'T give up, keep searching, like me I am sure success will come. |
