Twenty one years ago on my 17th birthday I believed myself to have been cast out by my father's family due to the lies of one member who shall remain nameless. I was told that I didnt exist. The event at which this was said was my grandad's funeral. My Daddy died before I was born and my Grandad was the only one who would let me into the memories he had of his son. I lost my only link that day. but now twenty one years later thanks to Genes Reunited I am about to renew my acquaintance with my father's family.. his brother, my Uncle Rodney has been in touch. As I am due to get married next year this has been like a guiding light and seems to me to be my grandad's blessing on my marriage. so now myself and my two daughters have a great deal of catching up to do with the Kelly side of our family.
