Today my husband has discovered two half sisters and a whole big family. As an adopted 'war' baby, he only began to search for his mother after receiving his birth records about three years ago and drew blanks wherever he looked. However, after frequent trawls through new additions on Genes Connected, a long shot enquiry has brought the break through, and he has spoken to two cousins and a half sister already. We are so excited we don't know if we are coming or going! My advice is not to give up - it is amazing what this site can do. |
