A while ago I was asking about my Prestidge family and someone on here suggested I get in touch with a lady called Sheila who was writing a book including the Prestidge name. To cut a long story short the book is being launched on 13th August in Moreton Pinkney and my husband (who is a Prestidge) and I are going up to meet Sheila at the launch. There are 3 chapters about the family, She tells me that my husbands GGGrandfather is in the book. He owned a shop in the village and that there are also photographs. She is bringing along her whole folder of Prestidge geneology as well.. I am so grateful to the person it was who gave me Sheilas' name Thanks, Linda |
