I was Born November 1963 Elizabeth Riley Maciver and given up for adoption to a lovely couple a week later. My Name now is Linda Salisbury. I decided to join G R on the year of my 40th Birthday to try to start to trace my Birth family surname Maciver and see if I could find my Birth mother. With the help of a lovely lady ( Same maiden name Maciver, no relation) who replied to my message on the message bored and let me look at her family tree . she help me to get in contact with my Birth mother, Who we discovered had gone on to marry my Birth Father surname Riley and found I had two blood sisters and two blood brothers. I met my Birthparents in February last year and then all my siblings of which i see very regularly down in my place of birth Dorset. My son and I now have another whole new family . Id like to say what a great site Genes Reunited is and helpped me amongst other sources to discovered my Roots of which my Jigsaw isnt missing a piece anymore!! thanks Lin Salisbury. |
