My husband is addopted and always knew he had a brother somewhere. So we dicided to have a go with your site. Just for fun. And this is the amazing story. My husband and I typed in his birth name (befor addoption) and town of birth. We found a few names that were similar to the ones on the addoption papers. I sent an e-mail to only ONE address and from it we found his entire birth family. MUM & DAD, HALF BROTHER, TWO FULL SISTERS, 3 NEPHEWS, 1 GRANDMOTHER, 2 COUSINS 1 AUNTE & 1 UNCLE. In total 13 members of his birth family. With just ONE e-mail. We met up with them 1.5 years ago. My husband has a very close relationship with his brother and 1 sister. Unfortunatly his Grandmother died shortly after meeting him. But she always remembered him on the day of his birth, for 32years. The only reason we used this site was a wild stab in the dark and we never thought it would pay off. So thank you for helping my husband find his brother (and rest of family) Jill Turner |
