Thanks to Gillian and through GR, I have now located two of my Cousins and have spoken to both, and have discovered that I have an extended family as one of them has three children and the other (which I unfortunately hate to admit, I had hazy memories of... and now I know its because he was out a lot when we visited) has four children and TEN grandchildren. They are hoping to tell their sister I've been in touch, so hopefully I'll hear from her too!. The other cousin is in Australia. I have never been so happy as to at last be in contact with my family again...none of us can understand what happened to separate us, but boy is it wonderful to be together again! I doubt this would ever have been possible if it hadn't been for Gillian's help and GR's site...so Thanks again :-) |
