Thanks to GR i have ended my 17 year trek to find my birth family is over steve contacted me just over a week ago and he has managed to contact my nan and auntie and has details of other relatives they are due to contact me this week end. This is the greatest day of my whole life and hopefully i can fill in all the blanks in my past. My adopted family have been really supportive too and i have let my adopted mum know that i am not looking for my mum just Marlene i already have a mum and that will never change. It takes a lot to be a mum but nothing to have a baby. I was one of the lucky ones cos my adopted family have always been honest with me and answered questions if they knew the answers i am so glad i was adopted i am the luckiest person alive but it has taken me this long to appreciate it. If you are looking for your relatives never give up but never expect it to be a fairy tale ending i am still not going to get my hopes up for the fairytale but just to know they are willing to contact me makes me feel so good. Thankyou Steve, GR and to my adopted family who have helped me in my life.
