I have been a member for about 18 months - but it was not till about the beginning of this year that stuff really started to click into place. In recent months I have located 4 second cousins, 3 3rd cousins, 2 4th cousins, 3 5th cousins and 3 6th cousins. There are a few 1st removals thrown in but these are just the folk who I have connected with via genes reconnected. In addition, I have found at least 5 people who, whilst not being direct relatives of mine, they are linked by marriage and/or are related to others in my tree. It is such a wonderful hobby and great when you 'meet' new friends who also share your blood. The biggest coincidence was a lady who was not related to me despite looking for the same name but who had been in touch with a different lady some years ago, who probably was. We were put in touch and it turns out we are 4th cousins but also that she was the person who had done the original research which started me off but, with whom contact had been lost! Is this what we call the Circle of Life? Good Luck every one. Lis
