I joined genesunited recently and posted a message to find my ggrandfather Henry Falkingham as I couldn't find him on the 1871 census. Within an hour I had 2 replies and both helped me to trace my relative and find his mother and father also. He had been mistranscribed as Henny and the age was 3 years different to 1881 census. It pays to search all possible solutions and a range of years. I also found that my father has two different birthdates. On his death cert his birthdate is 1908 and on the births his registered birthdate is 1909. Same day different year. Just another example when you are looking for someone and can't find them. Thanks for a great site.
