I have been doing my family tree when I was contacted by someone wanting to view my family tree as she shared the same name in her family tree as I did, the name was Topham. I sent my family tree to them, they replied saying that they would look at it the next day due to the fact that they were going to work that evening, my interest was aroused and I sent a message asking what they did (Dr, Nurse etc) the reply came back that they where a paramedic. I sent a reply that my daughter's warrant officer (she is with the Air cadets) was also a paramedic technican, I got a response saying that she was also a warrant officer with the Air Cadets and that her daughter was also in the Cadets. There followed another question, did your daughter play hockey the previous weekend in Cambridge, my response was yes, back came the reply, her husband had been umpire of the match. By this time we are beginning to think things where getting spooky. She then asked if my daughter was going to cyprus with the cadets, my response was yes, back came the reply so am I and so is my daughter. They have all met and had a wonderful time. I have yet to meet her and at present we are still not sure we are related but what we do have in common is that we both enjoy a drink socially and our name is Angela. By the end of our messages back and forth through GR we have become friends and will meet in the summer and we both sat at the computers grinning like chesire cats. Thank you GR for putting two people in touch and if we end up being related so much the better.
