A few weeks ago I uploaded my file as I have done on quite a few other sites. Never have I gained such a great response!!! I was snowed under with replies..some not so good BUT many, many good contacts. The most exciting has been finding athird cousin from a gguncle I had not known about at all. I am in Australia and his sisters came here and he stayed in the UK in late 1800's. We were able to verify by signatures on certificates..one Australian, the other English !!! Further certificates have confirmed it. My husband and I are off to UK for our Big Trip and will meet up in June.. Also I have found a son of my first cousin with whom I had lost contact. Thank you so much. Susan Clarke Haskell |
