I found this site in December 2004, and when I saw so many names that I recognised which were in various parts of my family tree, I knew that I just had to join this one. That was the best money I have ever spent. I had been doing my family tree for 5 years, and yes I had found a couple of relatives by using other sites. But this one is different. Up to now I have made contact with 10 separate family members from both my husbands’ family, and mine and they have all been so helpful. I have received so much new information, including photos of family who had died many many years ago. I now have faces to fit with 'just those names'. This seems to makes the family come alive, and of course, trying to see any family resemblances. When I have sorted all this information, I will be onto another part of the family. Yes, I have seen yet more names that I KNOW are part of our family. Thank you everybody who have taken the time to contact me. Ann. |
