Adopted at birth, I tried for many years to trace my natural family. my interest escalated when my daughter was born and I wanted her to know my origins. Luck was on my side one day when I spotted a wagon with a cousins name on and telephone number so I was at long last able to make contact. Sadly mam had passed away over twenty years ago, but I was put in touch with my half brother Malcolm in Australia , who knew nothing of me. Ive been twice to visit him and his lovely family and they spent last Xmas with us in the North East and stayed for two months. I've been made to feel so welcome, along with my husband and daughter and words cannot describe what it was like to meet my brother for the first time. I just wanted to share this amazing story with you. |
