After my outstanding success through GenesReunited - see earlier message - I want to repeat the Drowley search with her husband, William Edwin Ashwell b 1881. I now believe he was on direct line to the Rutland, Leicestershire Ashwells around Skeffington and Whissendene and is likely to be descended from Joseph Ashwell b.1858 and Fanny Emma b 1853 +/- . Therefore if anyone out there is researching this line please get in touch. Thanks to Rosemary for starting the ball rolling. My great g. and grandfather ended up in Egham and Ewhurst in Surrey from around 1890 on. |
