Hi I have just joined GR and have success in the first couple of days. I have been researching my family name of MOWFORTH for nearly 15 years. My story starts with a family bible left to my father which I started to checked against a family tree of sorts that I had made. The next thing ?? years on I was contact by a family member and the three of us live approx 30 miles apart and we meet regulary or phone with info. But GR has brought in the younger generation that I have found difficult to match up. I am drawing to a close with mine possibly for a number of years until I can afford the time and money to visit the Registry Offices for the remaining BMD that I can't match. Keep searching !! Lynn |
