In the same vein as below - I have been researching my family tree for a little over a year now. Since late 2004 and more especially in 2005 I have made contact with about 6 or 8 distant cousins all around the globe. The closest has been 2 cousins who turn out to be my 2nd cousins once removed. They live less than 15 miles from me! They have helped expand the recent tree, making even more connections possible. The most diverse cousins I have found have been 7th or 8th (we cannot quite work out which!) The new(ish) search engine, enabling you to look for anyone has been a huge success. Keep up the good work GR!
