I have found the new census search extremely useful with results that could have taken forever to find otherwise. One of the hardest aspects of research is discovering where family members lived. Especially if they moved around as many did during the 19th century. I have traced the actual villages in different parts of Yorkshire which makes further searches now possible and has filled in a few names and professions and opportunity of taking my family lines back to the late 18th century and possibly even further |
