I too have had lots of help from wonderful Genes United members. I have been doing this family tree thing since Sept 04. I put a lots of messages on boards and never got anywhere. I did meet a lovely lady by the name of Margaret in Ireland who not only helped me find out about my ancestors in Ireland but has become a friend that i enjoy conversing with. I then made contact with a relative in the UK who was able to provide me with information about another branch of my family back to 1871. Thank you Rhys. I also got an email from another relative (same branch) here in Australia. I am now conversing with a total of 4 relatives and a very good friend. A great big thank you to all of those people. And for the rest of you still searching 'Don't give up!' because you only need that one break and then it all just starts to roll in. Best of luck to all!!! |
