My husband was told that his paternal grandmother was an orphan and he did not know her as she died when his father was a young man of 21. I came across Genesreunited and thought I would give it a go 'cos it was easy to use & inexpensive. I subscribed and have now found that the grandmother had 7 siblings and have now been in contact with her great niece in Wales. we now have photos of my husband's grandparents - he never knew what she looked like until 6 months ago. This is fantastic because I am in Perth, Western Australia. People here are only now getting to know about this site. Great work!! |
