i joined this site 2 weeks ago and already found an aunt i had lost contact with who gave me infomation on my maternal sid dating back to 1745 (jenkinson) and then found my dads cousin who i dont know but she was bridesmaid to my granparents 50 years ago and she has gave me my family tree on my farthers side going back 250 years which is great i know have a real sence that im part of a bigger picture and i can now also tell my children a little bit about their famliy! another point is william gillingham born 1828 was born in southampton which is where i know live and 3 of my children were born here even though none of my realtives now live in this area amazing eh!!! |
