This year I have found many relatives and contacts from different lines and all have added much information to my entire tree (and I've been able to do the same for them). The closest is the granddaughter of my grandfather's brother and this is extremely significant because I had no way of finding her through other means. She lives only 1 1/2 hours from me. Also another very way back relative and I have been able to fill out 6 generations by linking 2 brothers from the late 1700s. Other colaborative efforts have answered for missing relatives half a world away, when both myself and my new cousin put two large but incomplete pieces of a puzzle together and found the entire family. Each working in their own countries (England and Australia) we have now, with the extra information from each other, been able to complete the family unit and work together to solve mysteries. This is not to mention my extensive finds from Berkshire roots which have added up to 5 generations and extended 6 of my family groups backwards in Berkshire. Many thanks for the inexpensive ability to find relatives GenesReunited. I have said many times now, "If I don't find another relative, this is worth the membership!" thanks GenesReunited, a million times over. Lynette in Australia |
