I have been trying to find my biological father for the past 20 years. My mother had only limited information and due to the fact that I live in Australia and my father lived in the UK finding him has been extremely difficult - however armed with his name, and as a member of schoolfriends.com.au in Australia, who are now affiliated with Genes Reunited, I had the opportunity utilize this fantastic facility. That was in Sep 04- since my first initial email (it took a little over two months to confirm that he was my father)- we have spoken on the phone, confirmed paternity via DNA testing and we email eachother reguarly. Without this fantastic search tool I would still be trying to find him. I am overwhelmed with gratitude to the founders of this site and would like to extend my deepest thanks. |
