I was adopted at birth in 1946 in England. I came to Australia in 1971. In 1994 I found out the name of my birth mother and half heartedly started to search for her. To protect her privacy I won't give names. A friend in England tracked down my adoption papers and sent them to me earlier this year. Two weeks ago my daughter & I got serious in our search and spent a couple of days a week together on the net. By accident (or so I thought) I came across this site through a magazine so decided to give it a whirl. After about two hours of scrolling through messages we found a one line message with the right names so we fired off an email and the rest as they say is history! I now believe in miracles. someone was guiding us that day, within 48hrs I have found my mother and a full sister both alive and well and I am flying to the UK with my son in a few days to meet them. So you can find that needle in a haystack after all. Thank you genes.
