I am not even a full member yet( This is about to be rectified) and I have already had contact with a very helpful member (Kath Downes) who has enabled me to fill in a most interesting piece of the Family Tree jig saw. This being details of my Great Grandfather - Simeon Pepperell who died young , we now know aged 31 in Cumberland. Details of his birth in Gunnislake,Cornwall ( Nr Plymouth) confirm suspicions that we originated from Devon or Cornwall, and we now know he is the link. This means I have a number of more distant relatives in the Plymouth area, and am in a position to investigate further. This is far more than I expected from Genesreunited at this early stage. Many thanks Kath, who is in fact not even related to us, just helpful. Derek Pepperell. Newcastle Upon Tyne. |
