My father has always talked to me about his two sisters that he lost touch with many years ago and I decided to try and trace them for a 70th birthday suprise. I put a message on the board but did not really have much hope. 2 days ago I got a call from a cousin I did not know I had..his mother is one of the sisters! I was thrilled and was able to re connect her, not only with my dad, but with one of her sisters and another brother as well They had not been in touch for over 40 years. It was a very special day for the family and without this facility I l know that this could never have happened. Dad was thrilled. I knew then I had to find the missing link. Little was known about the remaining sister except that she was in Germany apart from that we had very little information on her but I put a message on the board anyway. Within a day I had received a telephone call from another branch of the the family with the information that we all so desperately wanted. By pure fluke her husband had put her name on the site and read my message..2 hours after I posted it. It is amazing that in such a short time a family has been put back together. The xmas card list is growing by the minute! I wish everyone good luck with their searches, and I hope that you all find the happiness that is now resonating through my family.
