Hi all Had a letter about 10 days ago from someone I thought was possibly connected - same name as my grandma's son-in-law who notified her death - who gave me the names of his two cousins who he said were MY cousins too. Wrote to them both and had a phone call Friday from Lilian (while I was out!). Phoned her last night - we were talking for an hour!- and yes she is a cousin I didn't know I had! She's going to send me some photos of our grandma and of my dad. None of this would have happened without GC because without the encouragement and suggestions from my 2nd cousin Wendy who I met through here in my first week, I would never have thought about going down that route!! |
