Having been looking for my 'Bathe' relatives for a number of years I noticed a Bathe on the site born in a likely area and emailed the man who had posted the entry. To cut a long story short I met my 'cousin' last Thursday and swapped information. He even had a family bible that had been written in by both my 2 x great grandfather and my 3 x great grandfather - it was wonderful to see something in their actual handwriting! He also had documentary proof that my 6 x great grandfather came from Paris, which we had presumed was just a family story. Thank you GC! Helen |
