I started searching for the family of my grandfather (my mother's father) on 12th February 2004. The reason is my grandfather died in Burma in 1945 and my mother had absolutely no knowledge of him apart from the name Bill until my grandmother died two years ago. Since last week I have managed to trace his brothers and sisters and have now made contact with his neice. My mother is in shock that in so short a time we have managed to trace his family who were unaware that my mother existed. This is wonderful. Many thanks to everyone involved in this website, you have made my mother's dream come true. |
