FIRST meeting with my 92 yr old grandmother!!!

Thanks to this website and one of your members, I recently found my 92 year old grandmother - by ACCIDENT!!!

She had moved 250 miles away in the 1940s following a family breakup. I had traced her through freeBMD, so I knew her name and DOB.

I was amazed when I contacted one of your members regarding my great grandfather and I found my grandmother on her family tree - through marriage, and found that she now lives literally down the road!!!!

We re all delighted - she had no idea that she has 2 grandchildren (& spouses) and a great granddaughter. In fact, she thought that she had no blood relatives at all! Its amazing - all thanks to this website and one wonderful member!!
