Member Since: June 2008 Posts: 13 Send Message	I have been on genes reunited for about 6 yrs, I have been looking for my mums long lost sister from her fathers 1st marrige, they met once when she was only 8. I have placed messages on here, and researched my family tree as far as I could but without the 1st wife's name I wasn't getting anywhere. 3 days ago I was sent a message through genes reunited because dates on trees matched for my grandfather Albert Tomlinson. I replied the same day and by the next morning I had found my aunt and her 5 children ( my cousins). I can't tell you how happy we all are that we have found each other. We have our first reunion planned for next Thursday ( my aunts birthday) for our very own jubilee celebration as its almost 60 years since the two sisters last met ...... Wow !! Unbelievable. Please don't give up hope, there is always a slim chance of someone finding you and a happy ending :-)
