Cousins meet again

After over 50 years my cousin I have have met each other again thanks to Genes Reunited. My cousin Chris came to Australia to visit me and my family last year (2011). We connected through Genes Reunited around 2005 and have been emailing and writing to each other ever since. After leaving England in 1959 with my family we lost contact with our English family (not sure why) and whilst I was doing my family tree research I looked to see if I could find my cousin and there he was. I was so excited and so was he when I made contact. My family in Australia just love him and we had a fantastic time catching up and putting some more facts together with our combined memories and stories. Thanks Genes without you we would never have found each other again. <3 :-) |
