I posted two messages on this board one about Intestate the other about a missing link relative, both messages were brilliantly responded to and helpful people nudged me in the direction of finding an answer which I think I've now achieved. In the meantime however 3 of us in this family have now set up a FB closed group and are communicating stories and photos and are reconnecting, I've spoken to them by phone and we will be meeting up soon. The best bit has been finding out the history of a long lost part of the family and seeing where people lived and their jobs and also discovering sadness eg 8 children born only 3 survived for one part of the family on eof which was my grandfather. My cousin and I have not met for 50 years but we remember playing with cars as toddlers, he sounded nice on the phone. :-) |
