UPDATE

Hi Barbara, Brummiejan, Vanessa, Ingrid, Gwenth, and all the volunteers who have helped me.
You have all been amazing...and I cannot possibly thank you enough.
I have been successful in tracking down my late father's half brother, Graham Hayes!
Graham did not know my father existed, and we are now in contact, and catching up.
It is an amazing and very emotional journey, which is only just beginning.
I am definitely a success story. Please know how much your dedication and persistence is appreciated.
You guys all change lives. Mine is now changed...and I am in your debt.
Sadly for you all, you wont get rid of me just yet - I have much more to do. Ha ha.
But I wanted to thank you and let you know that you do great work.
