My maiden name was Borrer. I celebrate my 60th birthday in June and had never known anything about my father, or his relatives, apart from his name and birthplace and a copy of his parents' marriage certificate, which is all the information I could find. Now thanks to a "Trying to Find" to Genes Connected, I have discovered both living cousins and a fair amount of family history. Due to misspellings on both the 1881 and 1901 census information, using these sources had not proved of help. |
