My late father had always claimed to have no living relatives. However, since joining this site I have now met up with 2 of his cousins. One of them is 92 and remembers my father's mother, who died before I was 3. IT was so wonderful to hear her say "Everybody loved her" I also phoned another elderly cousin in Australia, and it turns out he worked with my dad and my grandfather, whom I never knew! It's so special to me as I knew nothing about him before.. K |
