I just would like to thank Jean for help in locating extended family in my home town of Wolverhampton.

I was born & grew up in Wolverhampton and my father never spoke of his family, my grandfather died before I was even born. I had nothing to go on when I started this side of my tree 2 years ago and was suprised when I learned that my grandfather had several siblings born in Wolverhampton. Never mentioned during my childhood.

Thanks to Jean's help, I have tracked 4 cousins still living in Wolverhampton. I wrote them all letters on Monday and this evening one of them telephoned me. A lovely old gentleman and who was most willing to arrange a meeting with me. So I'm off to visit him on friday night - can't wait.

Hopefully, I will get some lovely memories and missing pieces to my jigsaw.

Off now to get my papework and photographs together to take with me :0)
