This advice is from someone who was about to end her subscription with Genes Reunited. After searching for 3 years for my G/Father with no sucess even after sending for numerous death certificates, I have at last FOUND him. I decided to post once again on "Trying to find" A week later I had a Hot Match, had plenty of these in the past. Silly me didn't check it straight away because I thought like the others it would lead nowhere. Any way after 4 days I sent a reply asking just 1 question which was a full birth date, I knew the year. When that came back spot on I just knew before I went any further that this was THE ONE. My Hot Match had only just become a member of G/R. I cannot begin to tell you how over the moon I am to now be in touch with an unknown relative. We are slowing putting together information that the other was unaware of. How lucky am I. He could have joined after I unsubscribed and I would never, never have found this information. Please never ever, give up. My thanks to Genes Reunited. |
