having let my membership lapse for quite some time , i rejoined genes re-united three months ago, within two days of being on here I was contacted by someone who turned out to be a distant cousin tracing the same side of the family as me, then three weeks ago i came across someone else tracing the same tree, this turned out to be a first cousin once removed.previous to this I knew nothing at all about my grandmother as my mother was bought up by someone else. Her mother is still alive at the age age of 90.( my grandmothers sister.I am meeting up with this family in the new year.I can`t wait. thanks genes! |
